Nemo The Glass Bottom Boat

We sponsor Nemo Glass Bottom Boat Trips as part of our ongoing commitment to our wonderful local community.

Karen Gilbert, Director of Nemo Glass Boat says, “Cornish Escapes handle our two letting properties and we are so pleased with their professionalism, helpfulness and the fact they are so easy to deal with.  We offer premium, family-run boat trips in the Harbour and as such are a perfect match for a very successful and expanding company like Cornish Escapes.  We couldn’t be more delighted with our association and are thrilled with the way it is evolving.”

The underwater safari experience is something we recommend to all of our guests! We are thrilled to offer a 10% guest discount which is found in their property on arrival – to help make this dreamy experience a reality!

The Royal British Legion

The Royal British Legion is the largest Armed Forced charity and prides itself in supporting families and members of the Royal Navy, British Army and The Royal Air Force . They also assist current and ex-serving members of the military, for example, assisting care homes for the elderly, installing personal alarms and home maintenance and repairs.

St Ives is home to its own Royal British Legion establishment, located at the top of the Stennack Hill.

Giving back is important to us, especially in regards to our local community and at Cornish Escapes take their generosity into consideration and help in any ways that we can.  For instance, in the winter months, we donate food and toy hampers to support families in the festive season.

Guide Dogs: Sponsor a Puppy

In December 2021, Cornish Escapes reached out to Guide Dog Puppies to sponsor our two puppies, Moose and Grace.  This assosiation provides those who have lost their sight with the confidence they need to live their life to the fullest.  Through charity work, fundrasing, donations and rehoming guide dogs, they have helped over 200,000 people and they are striving to increase this to 500,000 by the end of 2023!

From donations like our, Guide Dogs are able to provide the training needed for these puppies to become fully-fledged eye seeing dogs.  We are loving watching Grace and Moose grow to be two very admirable dogs, helping those in need to live a life where their sight does not stop them from doing the things they want to do.

We are always looking for more oppotunites to support our local community and worthwhile causes.  We are currently in the process of changing our vechiles to electric and hope to arrange some beach cleans in the future.

If you know of any wonderful local charities that deserve support and recongnition, get in touch with our Team on info@cornish-escapes.com
