Does the holiday home have parking?
Holiday homes that offer parking are indicated by a logo on the holiday home page, the parking space is also detailed in the description. We provide information on the location of the parking space, whether it is on-site or off-site. For off-site parking spaces, we provide details of the distance from the holiday home. We also provide measurements for the parking space within the ‘Additional Information’ section of the website.
Where would you suggest to park in St Ives?

Do you provide linen and towels?
All holiday homes are made up to full occupancy with linen and towels. We provide one towel bale per person, including a bath sheet and hand towel. We do ask that you bring your own beach towels as ours must not be taken out of the holiday home.
What time is check in/check out?
Check in time is 5.00 pm and check out time is 10.00 am.
Can we arrange an early check in?
Check in time is 5.00 pm. We do our best to get all holiday homes ready for an early check in. We will send you a text on the number on your booking should your holiday home become ready before 5.00 pm.
Can we arrange a late check out?
Unfortunately, this is not a service that we offer.
Can we use the parking space before our check in time of 5.00 pm?
The parking space is available from 5.00pm on day of arrival and must be vacated by 10.00am on day of departure. Please note, your parking space will only be available from your check in time as our Housekeeping Team may require use of the space while getting your holiday home ready for you.
Do you only offer Friday/Saturday arrivals?
While some holiday homes only accept Friday or Saturday arrivals in high season, we are pleased to confirm that many of our holiday homes offer flexible arrival dates all year round.
Can we drop luggage to the holiday home before check in or leave it in the holiday home after check out?
Unfortunately, we are unable to store luggage before your check in time or after your departure. Please check out the local town’s Council Tourist Information where they will provide information for luggage storage services.
What is the minimum length of stay that you offer?
Our minimum length of stay is two nights. Some holiday homes require a minimum of seven-night bookings during the school holidays.
How much is the deposit payment?
For bookings made more than 56 days in advance of arrival, a deposit payment of 25% of the booking value plus the booking fee is required the secure the booking. For bookings made less than 56 days in advance of arrival, the full balance payment is due to secure the booking.
When is the balance due?
The balance of your booking is due 56 days before arrival.
How can I pay for my holiday?
Payments can be made by either Visa or Mastercard debit/credit cards. We also accept payments via Bank Transfer. Please contact a member of our Team for more information.
What is the cancellation policy?
In line with your booking Terms and Conditions, a cancellation at any time would forfeit the amount paid to date. As a Gesture of Goodwill, should you choose to cancel your booking, we will do our best to relet the dates of your stay and, if we are successful, we will issue a refund of your deposit payment less the booking fee paid. If we are unable to relet the dates of the cancellation, a refund would not be offered.
Can we extend our booking?
We would be delighted to assist you with extending your booking should the dates be available. Please contact a member of our Team for more information.
Can we move our booking to another date?
Changes to bookings are dealt with on a case by case basis. Please contact our Team for more information.
Is the cost of cleaning included?
All cleaning costs are included in the price of the booking.
Do you accept group/party bookings?
We do not accept bookings for parties, including but not limited to Stag and Hen parties. Bookings to non-family groups such as single sex parties in excess of two persons and groups of single persons under the age of twenty-three are only allowed with the express agreement of Cornish Escapes.
Do you have a minimum age for bookings?
The Guest making the Booking must be twenty-three years of age or more at the time of Booking and will be responsible for the holiday homes and for ensuring that all of the members of their party fully observe these Guest Booking Terms and Conditions.
Can we bring a dog?
We have several wonderful dog friendly holiday homes. Holiday homes that are suitable for dogs are indicated by a logo on the holiday home page, this will also be detailed in the description. We charge a small fee of £20 per dog per week.
When will we receive our arrival information?
Arrival Information including details to find the holiday home and collect the keys are sent around 12 days before your arrival date.
Where do we collect keys on arrival?
Keys are stored in secure key safes at each holiday home. Details of this will be provided in your Arrival Information sent around 12 days before arrival.
Can we arrive late at night?
Keys are stored in secure key safes at each holiday home meaning that you can arrive at anytime after the 5.00 pm check in time and collect the keys at a time that suits yourself. If you have an emergency outside of office hours, we provide an Out of Hours Emergency number to all guests where a dedicated member of our Team will be available to assist you.
Do you provide an Out of Hours Emergency number?
If you are staying in one of our holiday homes and need our assistance, please contact our office number. If you have an emergency outside of office hours, we provide an Out of Hours Emergency number to all guests where a dedicated member of our Team will be available to assist you.
Can we have a delivery to the holiday home?
We are happy for you to arrange deliveries during your stay. We ask that any deliveries arranged on your arrival day are scheduled for after 5.00 pm and please ensure that a member of your party is available at the holiday home to take receipt of your delivery as we are unable to do this on your behalf. The address for the holiday home can be found on our website.
Do you offer a mid stay clean?
We offer a complimentary mid stay on all bookings for 10 or more nights. The date and time of the mid stay clean will be confirmed by our staff before your arrival. Our Housekeeping Team will attend your holiday home to carry out a full clean of the holiday home including changing linen and towels.
Can we arrange for additional linen and towels during our stay?
We will do our best to arrange additional linen and towels on a request basis. There will be charge for this service. Please speak to a member of our Team for more information. We are contactable by telephone on 01736 796198, Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Is Wifi provided?
All holiday homes offer free Wifi for guests. Please note, Wifi signal can be temperamental in Cornwall, and we cannot guarantee internet speed/signal.
Are all holiday homes non-smoking?
We are pleased to confirm that all of our holiday homes are strictly non-smoking.
Do you provide baby equipment?
A few of our holiday homes provide baby equipment for guests. This will be detailed in the Additional Information section of the holiday home listing on our website. If you are unsure, please speak to a member of our Team for more information. We are contactable by telephone on 01736 796198, Monday to Saturday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Can we hire additional baby equipment?
We are pleased to confirm we have a selection of baby equipment available to hire including stairgates, highchairs, travel cots, travel cot linen and baby baths. Charges will apply. Is there a hairdryer at the holiday home?
We are pleased to confirm all of our holiday homes have hairdryers available for your use.
Are there ironing facilities at the holiday home?
We are pleased to confirm all of our holiday homes have ironing facilities available for your use.
Can we charge our Electric Vehicle at the holiday home?
Some of our holiday homes do offer the additional benefit of an Electric Charging Point. Holiday homes that offer this benefit are indicated by a logo on the holiday home page, this will also be detailed in the description. All other holiday homes have a domestic supply where it is not permissible to charge your electric vehicle.
