St Agnes has everything you need for the perfect Cornish holiday. The charming village is set in a valley that leads down to Trevaunance Cove and the St Agnes Heritage Coast. Its jumble of old cottages is postcard-pretty, blended with independent shops, inviting pubs and welcoming cafes.
When you choose holiday accommodation in St Agnes, both coast and country are on your doorstep and you are only ten miles from the city of Truro. The rural village is surprisingly handy for the A30, making St Agnes an excellent base for your Cornwall holidays. However, the village and local beaches are so lovely that you may simply want to stay close to home!
With its beautiful coast, surfing and kayaking, St Agnes is ideal for a family that loves to be outdoors. The coastal walking here is second-to-none, and there is a choice of watersport centres for adventurous days out. If you prefer a more relaxed approach to holidays, the old village is the perfect place to potter and enjoy a Cornish cream tea.
St Agnes is also a favourite destination for a dog-friendly holiday. Dogs are free to scamper at Trevaunance Cove all year round, and there are so many pup-friendly bars and cafes in the village. If dogs could book holidays, they would certainly pick St Agnes.
