The open plan living, dining and kitchen area is located on the middle floor.

The lounge area has a large comfy corner sofa, a signature relaxing chair and a large Smart TV. With bifold doors that open onto a balcony with a table and chairs, you can enjoy the breathtaking sea views from the comfort of the lounge or enjoy a sundowner on the balcony and watch the beautiful sunrises across the Atlantic.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a large in-built fridge/freezer, an electric double oven and induction hob, dishwasher, and wine fridge.

The large dining table comfortably seats up to six guests and is perfect for large family dinners and that special occasion.

There is a separate utility room on the ground floor with a washer/dryer machine.
Unwind

The large master bedroom is located on the top floor, offering a king-sized bed with stunning sea views which can be enjoyed whilst sitting in bed through the impressive floor to ceiling Apex windows. There is a Smart TV, a dressing table/desk area, small Nespresso coffee machine and a walk-in wardrobe with ample storage. The Apex windows are fitted with electronic black out blinds to assist your perfect nights’ sleep.

There is also an ensuite bathroom with a large walk-in rainfall shower, heated towel rail, wash-hand basin, and WC.

The second bedroom is located on the ground floor with a king-sized bed, ample storage, Smart TV, a dressing table/desk area, small Nespresso coffee machine and gorgeous sea views which can be enjoyed from the balcony which has direct access to the garden.

Off the ground floor king bedroom, you’ll find a wonderful garden terrace, an ideal spot for your morning coffee. This leads on to a delightful private garden with gas BBQ, a wonderful area for children to play and enjoy the Cornish sunshine.

We wish we could stay longer! The house is fabulous and the view is beautiful. Lovely to sit on the balcony and enjoy breakfast. Every possible thing has been thought about. The room layout is good because the upper floor gives privacy to the grandparents, whilst the rest of the family is on the bottom floor. The path at the left of the property is a short cut down to Porthminster beach. The coastal path is a lovely walk but if you want to come back to St Ives on the train, beware of the train times and stops. Thank you Del Mar, recommendations on the board are spot on! Hope to visit again soon!
We’re back! Second time at Del Mar. This house is just so welcoming, the town has such a fun vibe, and the beaches as always did not let the Cornish reputation down. Never trust the weather forecast - it was meant to be overcast and the sun shone all weekend! 😊
Our first visit to St Ives, the first of many. What a beautiful place this is. The house was perfect for us. Great layout and plenty of room so we weren’t all on top of each other. We even swam in the sea! Great outdoor shower for when we came back! Very stylish décor and comfortable beds! Thank goodness for the wonderful fans as we had really nice weather. Fabulous house, well kitted out with plenty of crockery, something not all holiday homes have, lots of little things around the house too, love the notes and labels! Great suggestions, we tried the pizza at Host, delicious Cajun chicken ciabatta at Kabyn Café on the beach at Gwithian – windy day but lovely beach to visit plus lovely food, even seen a couple of seals! Best coffee I’ve had in a while from Yallah Café. Morning swims in the sea, a bit chilly but very refreshing. A fantastic find and will definitely be coming back in the future, love it here. Thank you.
We’ve loved our first trip to St Ives and were SO lucky with the weather as it definitely makes for a more enjoyable holiday experience. But so does your accommodation and this house is just stunning. We’ve absolutely LOVED staying here – thank you! 😊

Another wonderful week spent at Del Mar enjoying all that this lovely place of Cornwall has to offer. Good food and bracing walks along the beaches. We counted 40 seals on the beach at Godrevy Head and watched the Choughs flying at Lizard Point. We will be back as soon as we can.
We are an ExPat family now living in England. We are loving this home, the area & the sea. We have made so many family memories over the last few days. We all slept amazing too! Thank you for being dog friendly too! Gus loved being at the sea! We will hopefully be back one day & would stay here every time!
What an amazing few days in a beautiful home. I honestly don’t think we could’ve asked for any more from the trip.
