Celebrating 15 Years of Cornish Escapes with a New Carbis Bay Office
In 2026, we celebrate 15 years of Cornish Escapes. We may have expanded greatly since 2011; but, we are still the same friendly, family-run local agency. To broaden our place in the community, we have recently opened our new Carbis Bay office – and we would love to welcome owners, visitors and local friends to our lovely new space.
2025 was a record-breaking year for guest numbers and bookings, and we are delighted that so many visitors have already chosen us for their 2026 Cornwall holiday. It shows the value both visitors and owners place on a genuinely local service.
Why move to Carbis Bay?
We chose Carbis Bay because it is an easily accessible spot, close to many of our holiday homes. Our portfolio has now grown over an impressive 100 holiday homes, and we realised that we needed an additional local office to better support our guests and owners. Because many of our holiday homes are in and around St Ives and Carbis Bay, this was the natural location to pick.
At Cornish Escapes, we have a wealth of local knowledge between us, and we love sharing recommendations and handy tips with visitors. A local office makes it easy for guests to pop in and chat with the team about things to do and places to visit, as well as any queries about their accommodation.
It is also an easy and welcoming place for our holiday home owners, who can call in to discuss their Cornish home and its performance. About Carbis Bay
With its large sandy beach and Ocean Sports Centre, Carbis Bay is an excellent destination for families and groups of friends. Couples can enjoy the many superb restaurants and romantic coastal walks. The peaceful surrounding countryside is perfect for those seeking a remote-working retreat.Carbis Bay is one of those perfect holiday spots where you can park your car and forget about it for your stay. You are on the branch line to St Ives and mainline St Erth, and there are lovely local shops for your self-catering needs (there is even a Tesco). We think that we chose the location for the new Cornish Escapes office wisely!
Our St Ives Office
The Carbis Bay office is not replacing our existing St Ives HQ. Our new base is designed to be an accessible and welcoming space for guests and owners to visit, while the St Ives office continues to be the operational hub.

New holiday homes from Cornish Escapes
We are delighted to welcome so many new owners and holiday homes on board for 2026. Our guests tell us that they love holiday homes overlooking the ocean (after all, the coast is why most people come to Cornwall!) so we are very pleased to say that we have increased our sea view escapes. You will also find more escapes with relaxing hot tubs and (a real bonus in the St Ives area) accommodation with private parking. Because we love a seaside holiday with our four-pawed friends, there are many dog-friendly options to choose from.
This year, we have some simply stunning properties in Carbis Bay. For contemporary luxury, choose Sea Vista, a penthouse apartment with breathtaking ocean views. Solstice is a large family house that sleeps up to 8 guests, with a large outdoor hot tub and fun features such as a media room. Special occasion? There is nowhere like Mor Glas, a truly spectacular architect-designed coastal retreat, with a reverse-level layout that makes the most of the coastal setting.
