Welcome to Marazion in Mount’s Bay This historic town is home to the iconic tidal island of St Michael’s Mount as well as one of West Cornwall’s best family beaches.
Staying in Marazion, you are surrounded by excellent places to eat and drink, and you can easily lose a day pottering in the independent shops and galleries. Follow your nose to one of the many cafes that serves breakfast, before heading to the beach, island or coast path.
It is quieter here in the winter, but just as beautiful. Close to the A30, Penzance railway station and the heliport, Marazion makes an excellent base for exploring Cornwall and Scilly.

About Our Accommodation in Marazion
Set in beautiful Mount’s Bay, Marazion has the most spectacular location. The bay sweeps from near Land’s End right across to the Lizard, with Marazion and Penzance in the middle. There are sandy beaches and rocky coves to enjoy, as well as plenty of coastal and inland walking on your doorstep.
Allow plenty of time for a walk or boat trip across to St Michael’s Mount with its historic harbour, spectacular castle and lush near-vertical gardens. Take a boat tour of the Bay to see the town and island from a different perspective, looking out for seabirds, seals and even dolphins as you sail.
Marazion itself has everything you need for the perfect seaside holiday. As well as the Mount and beaches, visitors are spoilt for choice when it comes to eating and drinking. Tuck into good old seaside favourites like fish and chips, ice cream and Cornish pasties or book a table with a view in one of Marazion’s restaurants or pubs. You can also easily pick up delicious local produce to prepare in your Marazion holiday accommodation.
Marazion is an excellent destination for a dog-friendly holiday. Dogs are free to enjoy the west end of the beach all year round as well as neighbouring Longrock Beach. Staff in the pubs and cafes in town are always delighted to meet friendly dogs, and whilst they can not go inside the castle or gardens, sea dogs are welcome on the island ferry boats.
