Alexandra Dickens opens up her former art gallery as a holiday cottage situated in the heart of Downalong, St Ives.

This newly refurbished hidden gem has been refurbished to a high standard and accepts pets. A fabulous conservatory and outside patio area makes this the perfect location to relax and unwind after a busy day.

    Vibrant abstractions have been chosen and displayed throughout the cottage which give you a glimpse into her instinctive and impulsive artwork.

    Tucked away in Downalong it is only minutes walk to the Harbour, galleries, beaches and restaurants.

    This artist’s hideaway with light and airy open plan living area has seating for four, Smart TV, desk and book shelf.

    The contemporary kitchen has a cooker with halogen hob, microwave, integrated fridge and dishwasher. There is a corner booth seating with table.

    Located in the conservatory is an integrated freezer and washer/dryer. There are also four wicker chairs to sit back and enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine.

    The conservatory leads to the spacious, enclosed courtyard with seating to catch the afternoon sun.

  • Unwind

    The stairs from the lounge take you up to the first floor where you will find the double bedroom with Smart TV plenty of storage.

    ​There is a second bedroom with two small single beds and ample storage space.

  • Refresh
    The family bathroom with shower, toilet and sink is also located on this floor.​
